Health Spiritual wellbeing

Hey, today in health we were told to talk about spiritual wellbeing and what it means also writing about one act of kindness we have done today. Spiritual well being means what you believe in and your principles of life, the act of kindess I have done today is emailing my mum to say all the great things about her. It is important to be kind because without kindness there is only hate.

Hur3 Chaos 9/11 Timeline

In hur3 Chaos we were doing a timeline on 9/11 so meaning writing importnat events with the times under them, my finished product is something I am actually proud of. My only problem was getting it all to look nice and postable. This is what I have made for my 9/11 timeline.

Hur3 Chaos ZombieA

Since last week we had to make some presentation about a zombie apocaylpse, Me and Kody worked together to make two videos, we did two rules for the video and in one of them we got the help of Nathan and Callum. Thanks to them it made the video a lot better than what we origanally had.

Baking Soda Vs Salt Hur3

Equipment: 250 ml beaker, 100ml ml measuring cylinder, salt, baking soda, something to stir with, a teaspoon and a ruler

My aim today is to find which substance disolves quicker either salt or baking soda, my hypothesis is that baking soda with disolve quicker than salt because baking soda isn't as thick and hard as salt which leads me to believe that baking soda will disolve a lot quicker then salt.

Instructiuons: Fill the beaker with 100ml of water, add a level of baking soda meaning using the ruler and flatting the baking soda, stir the 'solution' until all of the baking soda dissovles, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the baking soda cannot dissolve further, record how much baking soda you added, then repeat with salt, record your findings.

My results

Solute
Amount of teaspoons that dissolved in 100ml of water
Baking soda
7
Salt
29
Water can dissolve salt because the positive part of water molecules attracts the negative chloride ions and the negative part of water molecules attracts the positive sodium ions.

The conclusion is that we put in a lot more salt then baking soda because of what salt is made out of.
