3g4g fo guang shan temple W.I.P

On the 14th of May we revisited the fo guang shan temple with year 7’s, when we got there we were greeted by the buddhists from the temple. When we settled down they taught us a greeting the greeting is when you pressed your hands together, then we were led into the first floor artifact area, and split into two groups (1,2) 7/8Tz and Bh. We went to another room and made a lotus flower, those flowers symbolize clear of heart and mind, afterwards we watch a short film about the original Buddha.

My thoughts on Buddhism, is that they have a goal that other religions don’t have (that I know of) their goal is to obtain world peace and make everyone equal, I don’t think much of religion so I don’t have a better understanding.

My Fo Guang Shan Temple Visit

My visit to the temple was great, I loved it because of the followers being so kind to all of us. We got to look at the paintings and I loved looking at the paintings. I also got to see some statues and pray and tell everyone my wish. I am not religious but I like to see other religions and see what they do on the daily. I enjoyed making the lotus flower for my mother also the food was good.
